IT Support Rep (1p-10p) - Mooresville

National Vendor Services (NVS) is a full-service merchandising organization. Since 1991, NVS has had a successful relationship with Lowe's® Home Improvement Warehouse stores through its integral role in the store's operations. Our dedicated professionals perform merchandising services, training, new store sets, inventory control, and resets exclusively for Lowe’s and over 30 manufacturers.  NVS is a Mooresville, NC based company.  The parent company and corporate headquarters, National Product Services, is located in the Dallas, TX area.

We are currently seeking to hire an IT Support Representative for our Mooresville office.  This position will be responsible for providing primary desktop support for office personnel as well as field users. The position will take incoming technical support calls from the field and serve as an expert on troubleshooting handheld and laptop issues. This person will also assist the IT Manager in designing new IT initiatives.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Supports and maintains Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system and handheld field data management systemSupports maintenance of equipmentSupports application rolloutsTroubleshoots and repairs field hardwareIdentifies and resolves hardware and software problemsCommunicates assigned service requests to meet requesting department dates within established department standardsSupports Windows Mobile and PDA equipment

JOB REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma required; some college preferred3+ years of experience supporting hardware applicationsExperience with Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Professional, Office 2003, and Exchange 2003Basic understanding of TCP/IP networks and protocolsMCP, CCNA preferred



Primary hours for this position are 1pm-10pm,

but may change to 11am-8pm or 12pm-9pm depending on call volume.
