Import Specialist - Replenishment

Import and/or contract-manufactured products order placement with overseas and/or domestic suppliers and subsequent confirmation, follow-up and communication with assigned suppliers.Management of the import replenishment process on RockPort/Rockweb Trade Systems software.Determine proper ship dates and mode of transportation in order to meet required in-stock dates.Confirm and communicate required price changes to Affiliates for orders based on variances in requested mode of transportation.Maintain accurate status of all on-order.Maintain supplier payment terms and statusMaintain new supplier process by ensuring that Rockport/Rockweb is set up properly and that all parties involved are notifiedCommunicate with suppliers, International Logistics, Product Development, Quality Assurance and Inventory teams to assure on-time delivery and resolution of any issues related to the orders, (processing, shipping and receipt of product by the Staples Brands Group.)Communicate all order issues to assigned Staples Brands Group affiliates.Maintain purchase order receipts in the Rockport/Rockweb system for all suppliers assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required 1-3 years procurement experience preferred in the import/international areaExcellent problem solving techniquesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written requiredExcellent computer skills requiredMust be detail oriented and well organized.
