 Are you an Industrial Engineer who is ready to expand your career with one of the nation's leading retailers? Has your engineering/process improvement experience included distribution? Dollar General is recruiting for an Industrial Engineer to work at one of its state-of-the-art distribution centers in your area! The primary responsibility of this individual would be to study processes using approved industrial engineering disciplines to improve methods and workplace layout resulting in increased productivity and facility throughput. This position would also be responsible for testing, analysis, work measurement, presentations, change management, project management, product evaluation, and cost justifications. The Industrial Engineer will also include but not be limited to the introduction of new handling equipment, processes, and information systems intended to improve the total productivity and throughput of the facility while maintaining a safe work environment for our employees. Projects could also provide exposure to other areas of the supply chain. **Candidates must be willing to relocate (possibly to our DC in Ardmore, OK).**Relevant Industrial Engineering education and experience Must have a thorough knowledge of work measurement disciplines.  These may include time study, methods time measurement, universal standard data, master standard data, etc. Knowledge of distribution processes and be a good fit for working in an environment where a systematic, data-oriented approach to managing people at work is used and relies on positive reinforcement as the major way to maximize performance. Possess a good understanding of warehouse management inventory systems, strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong analytical skills. Must be able to conduct extended studies and research in a high-speed, non-air-conditioned distribution center environment with exposure to dust and noise.

Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your experience, with bonus potential.
