Our corporate headquarters seeks an experienced instructional designer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

-Applies knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory to the creation, design and implementation of training tools, materials and programs that are performance and outcome based.

-Recommends appropriate methodology and technology to address identified learning needs, which may include classroom training, print-based materials, graphics, job aids, and e-learning courses.

-Develops and conducts needs analysis to identify learning needs and objectives.

-Develops and conducts evaluations of training programs to ensure effectiveness.

-Collaborates with SMEs and learners through the entire instructional design process.

-Uses project management skills to manage multiple instructional design projects from start to finish.

-Performs or assists in maintenance to existing learning materials.

-May facilitate training programs in a classroom or virtual setting.

Requirements:

-BA/BS degree in an adult learning field with 1-3 years experience in instructional design, development, facilitation or implementation

-Excellent oral and written communication skills

-Proven understanding of instructional design and learning theory

-Proficient in the use of graphics programs and other software used in the design of training

-Portfolio containing examples of prior work

Preferred:

-Experience using Adobe Flash to create e-learning courses
