Internal Auditor II - IT Focused

 The Internal Audit department for Dollar General is recruiting top candidates to fill the role of Internal Auditor II who will assist in conducting audits and other projects necessary for Information Technology within the Organization. The individual will identify control weaknesses, operational improvements, and assist in formulating viable solutions.  A good understanding of general and application controls and IT audit standards is key to the success of this Auditor.  Planning, research, testing, analyzing and reporting are the primary functions performed in the position.  Candidates with Public Accounting experience and/or who are working towards a CISA certification are encouraged to apply. Minimum of 1-2 years IT Audit experience highly preferred Advanced degree and/or CISA certification a plus Public accounting experience highly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other data analysis tools Experience with IT General Controls, Application Development Life Cycle, Application Controls, SOX, COBIT/COSO frameworks and IT security strongly desired Knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Windows and network technologies a plus Retail experience a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with Sr. level management throughout the Organization Team player and customer service driven

Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your experience, with bonus potential.
