SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Under close supervision, responsible for territory management. Initiates outbound sales calls to prospective and current clients in the financial advisor communitys in an effort to promote sales of the company's financial products and services. Learns the company's services and products in preparation for selling the product line by attending in house training and wholesaler financial advisor meetings. Limited travel.PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Builds and maintains relationships through territory management by promoting Invesco Aim products and services through outbound calls to prospective and current clients. Informs financial advisors of new marketing materials, sales ideas, sales campaigns and specific product and service features.2. Ability to utilize analytical skills through use of sales reporting and other resources to effectively select appropriate products and services to promote to appropriate audience within the territory.3. Effective use of sales skills to proactively promote company, divisional, and territory initiatives.4. Updates and corrects the financial advisor database as necessary to ensure accurate mailing information on the clients. Documents new financial advisor information to be added to the representative's file within the marketing database.5. Answers direct incoming calls from clients with special requests (ie: wholesaler proposals, hypothetical information etc.)6. Coordinates operations issues regarding client accounts as requested by advisors.7. Coordinates support to the brokerage community for Invesco Aim sponsored events and meetings.8. Develops personal business and territory plans including purpose, mission and action for weekly, monthly and quarterly goals. 9. Participates in ongoing industry, product and personal development training as needed. 10. Participates in after- hours Invesco Aim and client sponsored events and meetings.11. Responsible for ongoing awareness of current events, industry trends and legislation within the financial services industry.12. Responsible for knowledge of all compliance rules and regulations as they pertain to registered representatives.WORK EXPERIENCE (minimum): One or more years of applicable sales & industry experience required.SKILLS (minimum): ' Proven sales ability.' Strong interpersonal skills' Excellent verbal and written skills' Ability to work effectively in a team environment' Proficiency in Excel, MS Word, OutlookInterpersonal skills required for communicating up to ninety percent of the work time with clients regarding Invesco Aim &products and services. Analytical skills required to determine the needs of the brokers while communicating product information, and to manage time spent meeting department and territory goals. Demonstrated telephone operation and courtesy. Ability to delegate administrative responsibilities to the marketing assistant staff and work well in a team environment. Proficiency with personal computers, and the ability to use a proprietary software system development to enhance the marketing effort. The ability to concentrate and listen attentively via telephone up to ninety percent of the work time. WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperatures. Occasional (up to five percent of work time) lifting of source materials; frequent sitting. Limited travel. Experience - External: EDUCATION (minimum): Completion of a Bachelor's degree preferred.LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION (minimum): Series 7 and 65 or 66 within 120 days of hire date. RESPOND HERE!
