International Sales Service Representative

The Full-Time Temporary International Sales Service Representative is responsible for the processing and coordination of International Trade and Retail orders and traveling collections. This position to TEMPORARY to cover a leave. The International Sales Service Representative is responsible for facilitating the placement of all trade orders and shipments, traveling collections, carnet and consignment merchandise, International credits, returns and adjustments, purchasing supplies and special orders that are placed by NY Sales Executives while coordinating all order details with Distribution to ensure orders are accurately processed and monthly financial plan for Wholesale Distribution is achieved.  The Representative will handle customer service related issues for while developing ongoing relationships with the International locations as well as New York Sales Executives who support Trade and Retail.  Qualified candidates require college degree and/or equivalent work experience required. An ideal candidate will be able to work independently, while providing prompt, attentive and effective service. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written and have the ability to resolve problems by applying knowledge and creative thinking to ensure customer satisfaction. International experience and proficiency in a foreign language is preferred.  Previous customer service and strong computer skills are a must for this position. AS400, MIPS, Internet navigation and Kana application experience is helpful.   This position is a full-time, temporary position that will work Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.
