Inventory Planners / Retail

Our client a National retailer is conducting a search for Inventory Planners.  Candidates should have a background in allocation and Planning with at least one full years experience as an inventory Planner with a major retail organization. RESPONSIBILITIES:Planning inventory levels and sales working with input from the buying staff and sales division.Evaluating past season sales trends.Plan at the dollar and unit level.Continual evaluation of margin levels including mark downs.Working with the buyers on turn and other inventory evaluations.Assortment Planning.

REQUIREMENTS:One full year planning experience with a previous background in either planning or allocation.Two to four years experience in a retail organization.A track record of good stability in employment background.A college degree is a plus.
