ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serve as back-up to store management with responsibility for daily cash reconciliation and opening and closing of store Assist with management of all human resource related issues including training and development, health and safety, store security, etc., ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures Sell Vera Bradley product, respond to customer needs, manage returns, etc. Process sales transactions utilizing POS system Assist with management of inventory to ensure adequate product levels Assist with coordination of sales promotions activities Merchandise store in accordance with Vera Bradley standards Maintain a clean, organized, customer friendly environmentQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: High school graduate preferred 2+ years retail experience. Experience in gift, fashion and/or apparel strongly preferred.
