 Dollar General's Leave Administration and Compliance Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of administering leaves of absence for employees, as well as partnering with management and the outside leave administrator to assure promptness and consistency in decision making related to leaves.  This position will also be responsible for handling all escalated FMLA/leave disputes between outside leave administrator, employees and managers including leave eligibility.  In addition, the Supervisor will oversee any system conversion issues related to disability and leave administration, and will reconcile activity in the internal payroll system to outside leave administrator’s database.  The Supervisor will also ensure updated information is provided to outside leave administrator, including job descriptions, salary continuation plan documents, short-term disability plan changes, organizational changes and changes to leave of absence company policies while also handling annual benefits enrollment for individuals on leave.  This position will also assist the Manager Leave Administration and Compliance with ensuring benefit plans are in compliance with federal and state laws such as ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc., including the preparation of required legal filings and communications.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Good quantitative and qualitative reasoning ability.Ability to work efficiently on multiple tasks and merge internal and external resources.Demonstrates project planning, team-work/team-building and management skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with exceptional skills in Access and Excel.  Demonstrates solid problem solving and analytical ability.Success working in a fast-paced and results oriented environmentStrong working knowledge of benefit laws and regulations.Experienced with payroll or human resource systems, such as Lawson or Peoplesoft. Work Experience and/or Education Bachelor’s degree or benefits certification preferred..  Three to five years experience in benefits or human resources.Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your experience, with bonus potential.
