Logistics Manager (2nd shift)

Bernie's, New England's largest family and employee owned Consumer Electronics, Appliances and Bedding retailer, operates 14 stores in CT, MA & RI and has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Logistics Manager for our corporate distribution center in Enfield, CT.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to the effective performance of all warehouse operations and providing supervision for up to 15 employees.  This is a hands-on position, prior fork-lift experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands on managerial experience in Warehousing or Logistics, preferably in a big-ticket, retail environment. Responsibilities include: scheduling, training and coaching warehouse staff, conducting warehouse inspections, overall coordination and participation in pulling, staging, serialization and loading tasks.

The ability to work a flexible work schedule - including weekends and some holidays is required.
