MD1 MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

REQUIREMENTS:  High commitment to carry out specific courses of action for self and others in a timely manner; self motivated; ability to work independently; goal-oriented; versatile to respond to the needs of others while maintaining and prioritizing own objectives for completion of this program; good organization and planning skills; good oral and written communication skills; good comprehension and study skills; assertive; must travel to various locations; must be willing to work a flexible schedule with varied hours; must have the recommendation of your supervisor.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  The trainee must demonstrate proficiency in each activity and successfully pass all structured evaluations to qualify as a candidate for Assistant Manager.  These duties will be sales development in the areas of merchandising, analyzing the competition and customer service; control of total store expenses, including all monetary transactions, labor distribution and inventory control; perform all store operations including scheduling, security, maintenance, safety, sanitation, ordering and store conditions; human resource management, involving employee motivation, discipline, recruitment, employee relations, orientations, appraisals and training; office administration regarding mail, reports, payroll and general paperwork.
