Maintenance Manager-Macon, GA

Position Summary:     The primary focus of this position is to serve as the manager for the automated material handling system and ensure all operating equipment necessary for operations performs as expected.  The incumbent will manage and schedule all maintenance personnel, have budget responsibility, and will direct all MHE equipment-related activity to ensure EFC serviceability metrics are achieved. Primary Responsibilities:     Measure and track key performance indicators, evaluate and analyze data, implement and direct process improvement.  Maintain and administer R & M budget compliance.  Performs training and service programs to educate staff in the proper operation and maintenance of equipment.  Report and document failure mode effect analysis (FMEA).  Prepares and maintains quality and safety related programs.  Performs conflict resolution for both internal and external situations.  Executes and procures maintenance-related contracts for capital equipment and supplies.  Provides strategic recommendations for overall network maintenance related activities. Preferred Qualifications:     Supervisory experience managing maintenance personnel and maintaining automated equipment.  Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) techniques.  Requires knowledge of high speed sortation and complex integrated MHE control systems.  Bachelors Degree (or advanced degree).  Additional Information and Disclaimers:    Regular attendance is required.  Effective verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.  Critical features of this job are described under the headings above.  They may be subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
