Position Summary:

 

Motosport, Inc. is a VC backed, direct-to-consumer retailer of parts, accessories and apparel for the personal motorized vehicles market including dirt bike, sport bike, ATV and cruiser. We seek an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for the hands-on maintenance of the Distribution Center, including overall inspection, repair and general maintenance of mechanical conveyor parts, the facility’s interior and exterior structure, electric power equipment and other areas as needed at minimal cost and downtime.  Acts as a "team leader" among the general maintenance staff; delegating, supervising and directing the work of the department including disciple, coaching and staff development.

 Regular inspection of conveyor system, including periodic maintenance required to ensure that all conveyor systems are running properly.Regular inspection of the facilities infrastructure to ensure that all aspects are in proper working order and within required safety standards.Works closely with power equipment suppliers to ensure all units are properly maintained and in good working order.Ensures all power equipment maintenance requirements are met.Works closely with suppliers to coordinate and supervise infrastructure improvement projects.Ensures timely and accurate communication of maintenance projects/problems to all Distribution Center departments.Issues written and oral instructions to maintenance personnel to ensure conformance to policies and procedures.Develops team leaders to effectively oversee the daily job tasks of their assigned team members.Maintains an accurate staffing level within the department to accomplish the Distribution Center and Maintenance goals in an effective and efficient manner.

 

 

Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent.Previous maintenance experience.Or equivalent combination of education and experience.Effective supervisory skills with the ability to train and develop and discipline staff.Extremely detail oriented and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality. Ability to effectively manage multiple issues/tasks.Ability to meet deadlines.Good verbal and written communication skills.Good knowledge of PC’s and Microsoft Office applications.
