Management Consultant for Counter Implementation

We are a performance driven company that is determined to be the best B2B distributor of services and products focusing on the industrial, safety and electrical markets. Hagemeyer North America is currently seeking a Management Consultant to provide guidance to Management for Counter Implementations in multiple locations throughout North America.   Responsibilities include the following: Implement and train processes, programs, policies and procedures impacting retail operational efficiencies and store service strategy. Implement new programs/initiatives throughout the retail/store sales organization relating to retail programs, policies and customer procedures focused on customer service and operational objectives (both area-wide programs/initiatives and corporate/national programs/initiatives). Provide support and training to Retail Operations Management personnel Support Compliance and Audit personnel with all operational initiatives Provide consultation towards maintaining adequate levels of Inventory at all times in multiple locations. Provide consultation to Sr. Management surrounding all new location openings, moves or closings. Perform regularly scheduled visits to identify and document needs, assisting in improving operational performance of the company-owned retail/store channel by gaining feedback from retail personnel. Develop merchandising elements for locations with specific requirements. Support the development of customer training materials and programs. Qualifications: At least 8 years of retail management preferably serving in the General Supply or Contractor sectors. Previous training and facilitation skills First hand knowledge of retail industry with superior knowledge of the following retail functions: Merchandise and Location Planning, Assortment Planning and Allocation. Skills and instincts around successful Merchandising initiatives, including best practice process, policies and roles in Merchandise, Location and Assortment Planning and Allocation.
