Manager, Application Security Administration

Purpose and Scope: Working under the direction of the Chief Information Security Officer supervise daily security administration functions, coordinate problem resolution and manage security administration project work.




Responsibilities:



Supervise the production security administration team.
Security Administration

Ensure that existing company procedures are followed, perform security additions, deletions and modifications for production applications
Manage the annual application security risk analysis
Working with the Application Development teams, ensure that the appropriate security standards are developed and implemented for purchased or internally developed applications
Modify or develop security administration procedures, as required.

Audit and monitor user access and Information Technology personnel access to production applications

Develop and implement application audit procedures
Manage potential application access security incidents.
Manage quarterly audits of user, IT personnel access rights to production systems.

Work with business personnel to ensure appropriate security administration requirements are met.
Develop security awareness training for business units.
Coordinate SOX application security audits
Represent the Security Group on application development projects to ensure security administration business requirements are developed.


Job Requirements:



Knowledge of application security administration principles
Prior security administration supervisory experience
Knowledge of mainframe (AS400) and Windows server security administration
Knowledge of SOX requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in information security administration
Strong written and verbal communications skills
