Manager/Assistant Manager/Cashier

Territory Manager:

$80 million dollar, fast paced and growing Vermont based company operating twelve convenience stores, with a national franchise wholesale/retail petroleum distributorship, seeks experienced Territory Manager who is professional and possesses strong leadership skills.  Successful candidate will work closely with the President, Vice President and other Management Team Members to provide operational support and develop long-term strategic/business plans.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of the Retail Division, including but not limited to the following:  review and analyze weekly/monthly/annual financial statements; review and analyze all marketing strategies and programs; review/create/enforce internal control policies and procedures; prepare store budgets and review same with Vice President; employee hiring/termination; scheduling and payroll control; inventory purchase and control; and delegation of responsibility to well deserving and knowledgeable Team Members.  Successful candidate will be required to travel to each store on a weekly and/or biweekly basis, including but not limited to the following locations:  Fair Haven, VT; Rutland, VT; Manchester, VT; Warren, VT; Morrisville, VT; Brandon, VT; Middlebury, VT; Wallingford, VT; Westmoreland, NH and Keene, NH.  Some overnight travel will be required, as well as attendance at various conferences, seminars and company functions.

Qualifications:

Successful candidate must have an enthusiastic and positive work ethic, with a very flexible schedule.Prior work experience in the food and/or petroleum industry, with a proven track record demonstrating excellent communication/managerial skills and an ability to work with a diverse group of individuals is preferred. 

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary is based on qualifications and experience, ranging from $45K-$55K.  Annual bonus is within the employer's discretion and will be based upon individual's overall attitude, work ethic and job performance.  Insurance includes Health Savings Account with BC/BS and dental.  Three weeks personal time/vacation time and company car.
