Manager, Compensation & Benefits - Seacaucus, NJ

We are currently looking for a Manager of Compensation and Benefits in our Secaucus, NJ office.  This person is responsible for driving the Company’s strategic direction through the effective development and execution of compensation and benefits programs for associates at all levels.  The Manager oversees and ensures the effective administration of all benefit-related programs which includes broker-vendor management, budget & cost containment and customer service.  Our ideal candidate will have publicly traded company experience and have developed and administered total rewards plans for executives and non-executives along with complimentary and competitive benefits plans. 

 

Responsibilities

· Oversee the administration of all benefit programs including 401(k), ESPP, short and long-term disability programs for all executives and associates including state and federal leave of absence (FMLA, NJFLA, CA PDL, CFRA etc).

· Act as the health & welfare plan HIPAA fiduciary

· Serve as a member of the Company’s 401(k) and deferred compensation investment committee

· Act as the HRIS system administrator and oversee the administration of all data in the HRIS system.

· Handle day to day administration of stock option and restricted stock programs for all executives and associates.  Ensure all grant approvals are appropriately documented as required by Sarbanes-Oxley. 

· Prepare annual EEO-1 report on behalf of the Company.

 



Qualifications Required

· 7+ years compensation and benefits experience

· Strong knowledge of health and welfare, retirement and executive compensation and benefit programs

· Strong working knowledge of ERISA, FMLA, FLSA, COBRA and other benefit-related laws and regulatory compliance programs

· Knowledge of HRIS and report writing (ADP a plus)
