Manager, Inventory Results

We are searching for a Manager, Inventory Results to complement our Inventory Management team.  This position will be responsible for monitoring corporate inventory accuracy, inventory systems, inventory/financial controls, and inventory transactions (i.e. sales, returns, receipts, shipments and adjustments).  This position will also develop and maintain daily evaluations of perpetual inventory utilizing exception based auditing. 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Accountability for reviewing and enhancing information system applications that are responsible for tracking inventory levels and assist in transaction auditingEvaluate, develop and maintain processes used for tracking inventory levels, transactional processing and ensuring data integrityManage the team of Inventory Analysts ensuring distinctive customer service to the distribution center and stores, precise inventory analysis and the continued development of efficient inventory evaluation methodsProvide effective decision support information (Inventory results, trends, and administrative inventory issuesProvide financial transaction and cost accounting reconciliation, physical inventory results/trends, administrative inventory issues, etc.Assist with the monitoring of inventory flow throughout the distribution center

 QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in either Accounting or Inventory Management or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 5+ years experience managing and developing inventory/financial control systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook), as well as MS ProjectMust have practical knowledge of SQL, database query tools, and basic database design conceptsExceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as organization and detail orientationThorough and complete understanding of inventory control & inventory accountingFinancial accounting, information systems, internal audit or loss prevention experience would be beneficialStrong analytical, strategic planning and ROI background
