Job Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the LMS labor model and ensuring that processes and procedures are in place to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of data. Activities are accomplished within agreed upon budget while meeting or exceeding the business and financial goals of the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Responsible for monitoring and modeling all activities feeding the LMS model. Ensure that PetSmart has the right labor data in the right hands at the right time so that business decisions will be made based on accurate information. • Develop new processes and enhance existing processes to improve LMS usage • Ensure that LMS is updated frequently with information pertaining to labor standards, drivers, laws, litigation, and policies. • Works in concert with Information Systems to ensure that LMS maintains the required level of user availability and that upgrades, patches and repairs are performed in a timely manner • Represent Store Operations in making cross-departmental business decisions regarding the use of LMS • Maintains forecast and overall labor budget for established businesses • Work with the IS Help desk team to monitor LMS systems issues. Identify trends and develop training to mitigate issues. Ensure issues are addressed quickly. Provide guidance and training to help desk associates to ensure maximum resolution at level 1. • Conducts client interviews related to data analysis, data interpretation, and process design. Analyzes client issues and develops client recommendations for reports. Monitors scope of client expectations surrounding delivery of generated results. • Identify LMS issues and opportunities in concert with department peers, department management, and stores,. Develop a library of best practices and implement those systems-related practices that will ensure that department and company business and financial goals are met. Qualifications: EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent experience. • Proven expertise in design and maintenance of centralized labor scheduling systems required. Expertise in Kronos labor management system preferred. • Understand labor allocation principles and techniques and knows how the systems works from an end user standpoint. • Translates ambiguous data or requests into action and results. • Synthesizes data into logical formats and units. • Should possess competency in MicroSoft suite of products • Preferred competency in EASE Labor standards program. • Demonstrated business and financial acumen required.
