Manager .NET Applications Development

The manager of .NET applications will lead the development for VEP, Subcontractor Portal, Merchandise Assortment Planning, EOM Inventory Planning and other .Net based applications support and development activities for Supply Chain Systems. This role will also provide leadership in standardizing development methods and technologies across all applications in this area. In this position you will establish project plans for development efforts. Allocate appropriate development resources for projects and support. Participate in designing and review other's designs for .NET application development. This role will also establish standards for development, work side by side with business analysts and business team members in requirements discovery. Manage the break/fix support activities of this team and identify opportunities for reuse and development of services. Assist the Grp Dir of Applications Development Strategy and Architecture in the establishment of an SOA applications architecture, governance processes, and SOA best practices.This role will also be responsible for supervising 3-6 .Net developers. The right candidate for this position must have 3-5 years experience as a developer in a MS environment using MS SQL Server, and .NET development technologies including: .NET framework, ASP.NET and C#. Candidate must have 2-3 Years in a supervisory role as well as experience leading development projects. The right candidate for this role will also have experience using and/or implementing a service oriented architecture required. Experience in a manufacturing or retail environment is a plus. And having experience with MS SQL reporting services and analysis services are also a plus.
