The incumbent will utilize process analysis and project management methodologies to implement initiatives that improve inventory management at SHC. This position will partner closely with the inventory management organization and associated enterprise organizations (e.g. merchandising, marketing, logistics, store operations, IT) in order to continuously improve processes and drive change. This position will report to the Director of Inventory Management Strategy and Process.QualificationsResponsibilities" Leads people and projects effectively. The incumbent must provide leadership through all phases of process improvement projects. They must possess a team oriented, customer centric leadership style, as well as a passion for learning and innovation. The incumbent must be able to build and align project teams focused on the end goal of serving our internal and external customers. They also must be able to lead effective team meetings. " Communicates effectively. The incumbent must possess strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. They must be able to communicate complex issues and concepts simply in order to gain understanding, buy-in and support. " Effectively partners with cross functional team members. Works collaboratively with individuals on all levels. The incumbent must be able to build and maintain high performance teams through their own actions, as well as direction they provide to others. " Facilitates the creation of process flowcharts. The incumbent must be able to apply process mapping methodologies. Mapping the as-is and end-state processes is key in communicating low and high-value added activities to the business, and helps the team identify process improvements." Drives process improvement and change initiatives. They must be logical, organized thinkers that are willing to question the status quo. The incumbent must also understand how to identify and implement needed process controls and metrics in order to ascertain the effectiveness of the process improvements initiatives. Additionally, they must be effective change agents driven to inspire and implement change. " Understands how to bring together innovative process ideas with enabling technology. The incumbent should have experience partnering with IT to help implement technology solutions for the business. " Contributes to the continuous improvement of the process mapping, process improvement, and process management methodologies. As lessons are learned, the incumbent must help refine and update the documented standards/tools used for inventory management.Skill/Experience Requirements" Minimum five years of experience with process analysis, improvement and design. Incumbent should also have project management experience." Incumbent should possess strong leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, organization, analytical, and communication skills." Incumbent must enjoy and be effective at working across the organization and be able to influence upward as well as downward in the organization." Prior experience in the retail industry is desired, but not mandatory."
