Manager of Specialty Business

Responsibilities:

Manage, develop, and implement new and existing Specialty Businesses for the chain to drive Member value.  Responsible for generating income to meet/exceed financial plan.  Accountability for negotiating with vendors for products and services resulting in turnkey operations that enhance overall viability and profitability for each business.  Responsible for club adherence and execution of program standards to maximize income potential.  Support clubs and other internal departments to improve and promote businesses.  Accountable for other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  This position is based in the BJ's Home Office in Natick, MA.

Requirements:

Four or more years of retail/wholesale management experience with multi-level supervision experience and full P&L responsibility is required.  Also required are experience with third-party management and negotiations and a strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.  Proven communications experience, both written and verbal, is essential.  A Bachelor'd degree is desired.  Knowledge of Corporate contribution of the Specialty Business Department and strong knowledge of Club operations is desired.
