Marine Department Group Sales Manager

We are currently seeking a Group Sales Manager to oversee our Marine Accessories department.  As a key member of our Management team you will be responsible for: Generating departmental sales and profit while controlling expenses, inventory, payroll, coordinating departmental merchandising, marketing and store operations.  Support a strong commitment to world class customer service through coaching, training and positive motivation. Staffing department(s) with service oriented associates. Prepares/ administers performance appraisals, weekly work schedule and daily activities of up to 30 associates.  Opening and closing the store.  Resolve customer and associate issues.>

 

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years in Retail Management preferably in big box, high volume, with responsibility for one or more Sales Departments.  A true passion for the outdoors is a plus!  Local knowledge and experience in the respective areas is a must. >
