Smith+Noble (smithnoble.com), is the custom window treatment division of Cornerstone Brands, Inc.  We specialize in high end, unique design, custom window treatments.  We started our business in 1987 and today we are the leading mail order catalog for custom window treatments.  We joined Cornerstone in September, 1998. Cornerstone has a portfolio of catalogs including:  Frontgate, Ballard Designs, Garnett Hill, Territory Ahead, Travelsmith and Improvements.

Cornerstone was purchased by IAC/Interactive Corp. in April, 2005. IAC is an interactive conglomerate operating more than 60 brands in sectors being transformed by the internet.  Some of the brands include Ask.com, HSN, Ticketmaster, LendingTree, Match.com and Gifts.com

we are looking for:

An individual to design, create and maintain appropriate analysis and planning tools, processes and procedures to provide management with accurate and timely information to maximize Smith+Noble’s performance.  Design, create and maintain marketing reporting capabilities for all systems and database applications.  Produce and maintain standard reporting as well as ad hoc analysis.

 

Develop timely and accurate circulation analysis for all list types and list sources.  Report on analytical findings and make recommendations regarding circulation strategy as a result.  Develop test matrices and procedures to ensure the accuracy and statistical validity of tests for various marketing project pieces and promotions.  Develop reporting capabilities for the marketing department utilizing present company operating systems to provide accurate, useful and timely information to each area of marketing as requested or needed.

requirements:

 

Education:

· BA/BS in statistics, quantitative social sciences or science, preferred

 

Experience:

· 3-5 years experience in analysis & statistics experience with quantitative marketing would be valuable - advanced degree and academic research experience will also be considered

· In-depth knowledge of response modeling and advanced statistical mathematical experience

· Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, and SAS or SPSS
