PetSmart is an Equal Opportunity EmployerWith many positions offering relocation packages, learn more about Life in PhoenixJob Responsibilities: Two openings for a Marketing Manager - Services, each person will be responsible for leading the strategic marketing initiatives for several of the Company's services. These individuals will manage programs from inception through implementation and esnure consistency and effectiveness through cross-functional leadership, results assessment and collaboration with Services partners. -Works with Services team to define business objectives and strategies for existing and any potential new Services. Existing Services include, Grooming, Training, PetsHotel, Doggie Day Camp, Adoptions and Pet Photography. Position also services as contact to Banfield, the Pet Hospital, and integrating the marketing strategies to drive both businesses. -Leads marketing strategy and executes projects from initiation to execution against those strategies based on assigned Services. -Manages the development and execution of in-store promotions, leading external programs and working cross-functionally to provide business knowledge content for CRM and Direct initiatives. -Initiates and analyzes consumer research and business metrics to identify and recommend marketing initiatives. -Participates in business reviews and strategic planning. -Budgets, forecasts and manages the invoice detail for specific areas of the Services businesses. -Analyzes and recap marketing program results, learnings and recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field (MBA desired), plus 3-5 years experience in marketing management is required. Knowledge of retail operations, store environment, merchandising, and consumer behavior is a must. Requires the ability to analyze data, develop new ideas and test new programs to drive sales. Must have the ability to simultaneously manage a large number of projects and priorities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, highly collaborative work style and strong project management skills are essential. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft software applications.
