Location New York, NYStatus Full Time, EmployeeJob Category Marketing/Product Job Description Marketing Programmer Analyst Overview:The Marketing Programmer Analyst will design, build and deploy reporting solutions for Macy’s Corporate Marketing Team  Key Accountabilities:Pulling and compiling data from different internal databases. Incorporating advertising database in our reporting systems. Automating manual report processes and convert existing reports to new reporting environment Supporting and troubleshooting existing reporting systems Identifying opportunities to eliminate report/data redundancy. Learning/Understanding current business processes and determine user requirements Developing functional and technical design specifications Developing system and application documentation Training users in conversion and implementation of applications/systems Skills Summary: BS degree in Computer Science, Info Systems, or equivalent knowledge and experience Strong analytical, communication and project management skills Extensive experience in VB and VBA programming.  The ideal candidate should have 2+ years experience in VBA MS Excel Attachmate/Blue Zone Mainframe Scraping VBA MS Access SQL Server Stored Procedures Ability to manipulate worksheet and cell properties using VB and VBA Advanced Excel skills (i.e. complex formulas) and be able to debug/code difficult Excel macros Advanced Access Database skills The capability to contribute to design sessions pertaining to user, database, and reporting requirements The aptitude to follow standards and instructions while offering improvements/enhancements Experience in following a plus  SQL Server Administration SQL Server Optimization Teradata Data Warehouse Knowledge of EZTrieve  Macy's Corporate Marketing and Advertex Inc. are Equal Opportunity Employers, committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment
