Description
The Distribution Center Inventory Manager is an integral part of the Distribution Center staff. He/she is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and relability within the Distribution Center.

Candidate will also work with the Store Inventory Control Specialist to insure accurate store level inventory is maintained from Distribution Center to Store shipments.

Candidate will maintain, develop and support quality work processes, trouble-shoot discrepancies, analyze problem trends, create improvement ideas, and be part of the corrective action implementation team.

Selected candidate will perform cycle count and physical inventories using bar-coded inventory technology and be responsible for the reconciliation of that inventory with distribution center staff and corporate level departments.

The position works semi-independently while also being part of a distribution center team, ensuring timely completion of inventories and other projects.

Selected candidate will be based at our Medley, Florida Distribution Center. Position reports to the Distribution Center Manager.

Requirements
Candidate will have at least a high school degree or GED, with an Associate Degree or higher in Business, Logistics or Inventory Management highly preferred. At least 3 years of relevant work experience with product inventory, including physical inventory of product using bar-code technology is required. Candidates with retail store/distribution center inventory experience with multiple product SKU’s a plus. Position requires candidate to be computer literate with proficiency in a Windows operating environment and with Microsoft Office applications. Experience using some type of bar-code software is also required.

 

Bi-lingual preferred, but not required

Candidate must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen to qualify.
