Merchandise Planner/Buyer

Career position open for an analytical and creative individual with excellent communication skills to handle all aspects of planning, sourcing, and buying for merchandise in apparel departments. In this role you will analyze departmental trends, forecast product requirements, manage margin and inventory turn and negotiate buys for selected products.  Additionally, you will apply your analysis to managing all aspects of the product assortment; including sales, item promotions, inventory allocation and transfers and overall merchandising. Successful candidates must be outgoing and friendly, but tough with regard to business needs and negotiation. You must be both imaginative and entrepreneurial as you will be the driving force behind all business decisions made regarding your assigned departments. 

You have a minimum 2-4 years buying or related experience.  Intimate apparel purchasing experience a plus!

You are a natural communicator, a curious quick-thinker and a multi-tasker.

You are a forward planner with the ability to manage short-term business needs and identify and plan for future trends.

Bachelor's degree is a must, graduate/MBA is a plus.
