-Meat Merchandiser (Houston, TX)

 

 

Summary/Responsibilities of this position:

 Supports store operations in implementing merchandising plans and programs.  Provides Merchandising expertise on specific categories and store demographics to Merchandising teamManagers will analyze sales trends and develop plans to ensure sales and gross profits are meeting goals and detects and resolves problems as they occurActs as a consultant to the Business Unit regarding Merchandising programs, process and policiesWorks with Supply Chain, IS, Shelf Edge, and Merchandising to fully utilize system resources, including recommending process improvements and system enhancements.  Establish meaningful cross-functional relationships throughout the business to ensure specific category remains a top of mind conversation Participates in cross-departmental projects as necessaryMay develop and plan local marketing programs to increase salesCapable of leading change in a fast paced environment

 

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 3 years of Merchandising or Store Operations experience related (5 years for management positions)Excellent presentation and communication skillsExcellent business communication skills to converse with all levels of management Experience designing and implementing comprehensive Merchandising programs
