To learn more about Mosaic, visit our website at: www.mosaic.com  Mosaic, an industry leader and rapidly growing national field marketing company, is currently seeking outstanding Field Specialists to conduct various merchandising and product knowledge training projects throughout assigned stores for our client, a large retailer.  The average specialist will cover between 4-5 stores, but with geographical considerations, you may cover as little as 1 store and as many as 10.  Initially, you can expect to work about 3 hours a week for each assigned store, but with added projects and the holiday season, please expect this to increase.   The tasks associated with this role will vary frequently based on the needs of the project/client, as will the weekly work hours.All scheduled weekly visits for this program MUST be completed Monday through Friday (anytime between 7AM and 4PM - Tuesday visits must be completed before 6PM and are required). Merchandising responsibilities can include but are not limited to the following: -  Setting product displays to planogram-  Assembling displays &/or demo units-  Moving product from the stock room to the sales floor-  Ensuring POP placement-  Ensuring price signage placement-  Collecting and reporting inventory data-  Auditing display compliance  In the role of Field Specialist your projects can take you to every part of the store, including Electronics, Toys, Grocery, Apparel, Front End, or any other part of an assigned store.  Our first core projects center around our client’s financial services where you will be assisting with credit card, debit card, and gift card products and signage.  However, there will always be projects in all parts of the store, both short term and long term.  In this position you will also occasionally be asked to assist with a sister client program which is responsible for merchandising that supports Video Game and PC Software. Training store personnel (and/or customers occasionally) on various products and services will also be an integral part of this unique and ever-changing role.  Specialists will work closely with retail associates and managers, to ensure that they are educated on product launches, features & benefits, promotions and procedures.  Your ability to build relationships and maintain strong partnerships with store personnel will be vital in achieving the goals of this program. Excellent communication skills, demonstrated merchandising capabilities and good basic hand tool skills will also play a key role in this unique position. General Experience: -  Proven and successful track record in retail or merchandising environment -  Experience influencing shelf and display allocation by participating in decisions made by store management -  A high degree of attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and respond to ever-changing priorities -  Acts as a strategic client advisor to store management to enhance retailer relationships -  Must be comfortable training store personnel and/or customers on various products and/or services from time to time. -  Independent, self-motivated, and organized, while remaining flexible and adaptable -  Strive to consistently meet and exceed program objectives for multiple clients -  Must complete all administrative duties on time and with accuracy -  Must be available to work Monday through Friday (visits must be completed anytime between 7AM and 4PM.  Tuesday visits must be completed before 6PM and are REQUIRED.) -  Professional demeanor and image compatible with the brand and Mosaic  -  Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis -  Bilingual (English/Spanish) speaking abilities required in some markets - Willingness to follow specific dress code to include black polo-style Mosaic shirt (company provided), khaki-colored slacks, with black shoes & belt.   Technical Requirements: - 24 hour/7 days a week computer access - Capable of utilizing a state-of-the-art handheld computing device for data collection and reporting - Comfortable using hand tools such as screwdriver, etc… for display/demo unit assembly - Ability to complete online and/or in-store training as required Insurance Requirements: All employees that are required to use their personal vehicle for business purposes are required to provide Mosaic with evidence of insurance and agree in writing to keep this insurance current throughout employment. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
