Role Statement
Develops line plan and in season profit for product category that supports Express objectives and delivers sales and profit targets. Works in collaboration with all cross-functional partners to deliver departmental plans. Manages and gathers customer and competitive information that drives the strategic view of the line.

Essential Tasks
1. Accountable for product specific area
2. Understands the customer through concentrated profiling and customer intimacy
3. Provides customer an assortment with a “one-eye” point of view that works within the complete brand vision
4. Supports Merchandise Manager with the strategic view of the line
5. Intense involvement in competitive patterning hypotheses, analytics and qualitative findings
