Reporting to the Controller, we are looking for a leader with impeccable integrity that has a passion for fashion, music and art for the position of Distribution Center  Manager at our Home Office located in City of Industry, CA. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of one of the most exciting break-through concepts in specialty retail, offering expansive growth potential for ambitious professionals.

 

Position Duties:  Time and Attendance Management – Processing and reportingProcurement and reduction of staffing levels through agenciesReview, develop, and negotiate with staffing vendorsCommunication of general notices (flu shots, insurance issues, etc.); Support  Employee Services where applicableReporting and resolution of time and attendance issues that fall outside of MP parameters to managementManage DC reception/phonesStaff performance reporting and other DC metricsManagement of special functions Ensures all DC office equipment is maintained and working appropriately Analyze, develop, establish, and maintain efficient office work flow and administrative processesManage all DC mail functionsAssist in the on-boarding process of new employees, i.e. desk setup, email, computer, etc.Assist in MBO review administrationMaintain stock/supply levels of all common areas, i.e. kitchens, bathrooms, etc.Manage and supervise DC/Accounting office housekeeping team and processManage and execute the following functional DC departments: Supplies, Returns, New Stores, Backstock.Additional duties as assigned but not limited to those listed above

 

Qualifications:

· Ability to interface with all levels of staff and senior management

· Demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills with organization and time management.

· Possess a clear understanding of distribution center functions and how to impact them

· Possess strong written and oral communication skills, reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency

· Ability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional teams

· Possess a complete working knowledge of recapping databases, process and systems

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
