 Position Summary The Field Human Resources Manager is responsible for the tactical execution of Human Resources functions within the market which includes staffing, retention, workforce planning, training, compliance, safety, associate relations and associate communications for an assigned market.   This position will support an assigned market/location which could include CFCs, retail stores, and/or CSC.  Facilitates the definition and communication of the organizational culture, vision and values which guide the decisions and actions of the managers and associates.  This position interfaces with local market leadership to review and assess patterns and trends that impact the associate experience. Position Responsibilities1. Work with location and market leaders to develop and execute business initiatives as it relates to human resources that result in business growth and expansion. 2.   Provide market human resources leadership in support of the business leadership team to drive operational excellence in meeting the needs of the business to include but not limited to identifying gaps between operational and strategic issues and leveraging the strengths of current talent. 3. Manage and execute the tactical execution of Human Resources functions within the market which includes staffing, retention, workforce planning, training, compliance, safety, associate relations and associate communications.  4. Coach location and market leadership on associate issues, define appropriate steps to adhere to company policy and ensure the fair and equitable administration of company practices.  5. Support the design and lead the execution of policies and programs for the effective management of people resources to ensure associate needs are being met through quantifiable practices to include positive associate relations, compensation application models, validation of goal setting, career development and cross-training.  6. Collaborate with location and market leaders to implement solutions that align with senior leadership direction while understanding the business, correlating results, and communicating the impact on business operations.  7. Validate compliance with all legal requirements and government reporting regulations related to the employment of associates including but not limited to OSHA, EEO, ERISA, FLSA guidelines, AAP, Harassment and Discrimination and other applicable federal and state requirements. 8. Coach and assist location and market leaders to lead through and facilitate organizational change.  Demonstrate extensive working knowledge of the organization’s change management process and exhibit leadership in establishing structured methodologies that support such initiatives as directed by Sr. Human Resources Manager. 9. Utilize and facilitate workforce planning processes to support location and market business leaders in achieving operational goals.  10. Assist market and location Human Resources team in accomplishing Human Resources scorecard metrics by leveraging various measurement tools designed to evaluate successes and to identify opportunities to further enhance associate engagement levels.11. Assist location and market leaders in the development of talent for bench strength for business growth by actively leveraging the key components of the Associate Experience Model to maximize productivity and results.  12. Quantitative DimensionsThis position will have broad scope and responsibilities for overall human resources operations within an assigned area.  This position also directly supervises exempt level team members (number varies based on market).  This position functions as the expert for all associate related issues; directs and oversees the overall human resources functions for multiple locations in multiple states for approximately 800 – 1,200 associates.  Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources Management or Business Administration required; advanced degree preferred Minimum 5 years of applicable Human Resource Generalist experience required Minimum 3 years leadership experience in a multi-site, multi-state, multi-function environment requirement Professional designation such as PHR/SPHR a plus Written and verbal communication skills Experience in positions that provided vision and leadership influence in decisions affecting successful corporate strategy Ability to interface and maintain effective partnerships with all departments and associates in a team-oriented environment Organizational, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve disputes and observe confidentiality 60% travel required A relentless focus on you.
