We are seeking experienced Retail Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers with prior experience within a small-box retail environment or prior experience in selling digital media, computers, digital cameras and consumable office supplies. Growth: InkStop, Inc. has experienced tremendous growth since opening our first store in January 2006, and we are continuing to open stores in current and new markets. Many our store managers and assistant managers have been promoted to their current position. Position: Market Leader - Multi - Site Manager - Dallas/San Antonio/Austin Position Description: Responsible for directing the efforts of assigned stores to increase profitable sales within a market Committed to ensuring service by creating an environment that is focused on providing an experience that exceeds customers expectations. Maintains superior professional standards in the areas of sales, financial goals, customer service, visual presentations, inventory management, operations, personnel management, and development. Ensures that all stores demonstrate the values and vision of InkStop, Inc. Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible and accountable for assigned market sales goals, customer service, financial goals and the InkStopReward Program.Analyses business results by store and associates and meets with Store Managers to take appropriate action to affect sales and profitably.Consistently holds Store Management accountable to achieve sales goals and objectives. Set the example by being a leaderand motivator of employees. Enforces add-on selling techniques and best practices and teaches management howto utilize selling tools.Coaches, trains and develops Store Managers to identify priorities based on demands of the business.Defines, demonstrates and evaluates customer service expectations for the Market.Responsible for maintaining a full complement of management and sales staff at all times to include ensuring that the right people are in the right position. Plans, anticipates, and adjusts staffing needs.Creates a base of promotable employees by recruiting and hiring high caliber talent.Responsible for ensuring newly hired employees have reviewed and understand their positions responsibilities.Ensures that all store employees are trained in InkStop policies, procedures and operations. Including the development ofstore personnel for promotion opportunities.Ensures management practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as corporate philosophies and policies.Ensures proper administration of coaching and counseling relative to standards of performance and that a progressive disciplineprogram is utilized in all cases of substandard performances or not keep with company policies and procedures.Ensures the administration of timely and fair performance reviews.Continuously demonstrates a high degree of professionalism in order to set the example and to achieve results..Communicates clearly and effectively both verbally and written. Maintains a positive and motivational style in all communicationsand actions to promote productivity and commitment.Maintains and enforces high standards of personal image in compliance with company guidelines and dress code.Instills pride of ownership in all store employees.May have Store responsibilites.OperationsEnsures that all store employee understand and adhere to company policies and procedures and programsas outlined in the Operations Manual, Employee Handbook, and corporate communications.Effectively controls all store expenses.Controls internal and external shrink. Ensures the protection of company assets.Communicates security issues and concerns to District Manager.Monitors and ensures accuracy of transfers, damages, and special pricing, and other administrative paperworkaffecting inventory accuracy.Ensures that stores schedule payroll effectively to maintain store profitability.Responsible for opening any new stores in their Market.Visual Presentation and Inventory ManagementEnsures effective implementation of all visual direction with urgency and proper planning, without sacrificing customer service.Ensures that total presentation and displays of merchandise is impactful to maximize sales.Maintains consistent, uncompromising high standards for cleanliness, presentation, marketing, and company assets on theselling floor, at the cash desk, and backroom.Ensures that all stores are properly managing controllable inventory issues and needs.Ensures that stores present a customer friendly environment.Ensures that needs and plans for store repairs are communicated to the proper parties.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Willingness to travel up to 20 percent.Skills and Experience Requirements:Prior retail multi-unit supervision experience preferred.
