Join Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions as the Off-Site Programs Coordinator at our Oxford Center! Purpose of Job: The Programs Coordinator position is responsible for class starts, marketing events such as test drives and admissions seminars, servicing existing contacts, generating and developing new marketing contacts, defining and developing new marketing opportunities, teacher recruitment, and being the point of contact for all Kaplan activities in that market. Responsibilities: Marketing Define new opportunities for Kaplan courses within the market Working with Center Manager, develop and execute plan for acquiring new business within the market Work with Center Manager to establish priorities within marketing efforts Conduct Test Drives and other Seminars on a regular basis, as established by the National Marketing Plan, Regional Marketing Director, and the Center Manager Develop new contacts within each school to supplement existing contacts and further develop marketing opportunities at that schoolService Existing Students and Courses Work with area schools and universities to ensure that student and school needs are being met and that Kaplan standards are being maintained Work with school / institution contacts to determine room needs for courses Conduct periodic inventory of training materials at local training libraries, ensure that training library(s) are maintained with the most up-to-date Kaplan materialsTeacher Hiring, Recruitment, and Development Ongoing recruitment of teachers for Kaplan courses Conduct regular, scheduled observations of all teachers, evaluating their teaching based on established methods Communications/Operations Provide Center Manager with weekly Marketing Reports outlining efforts for that week, accomplishments, and what efforts will be made the following week Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Kaplan policies, events, and procedures via the use of the Kaplan intranet (KapNet) and internal email system (Microsoft Web Access) Attend periodic meetings in Memphis, TN at Kaplan Center. Requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Passion for customer service and business growth Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem solving, management and decision-making abilities High energy level and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment Ability to travel locally and work occasionally during evenings and weekends Must be authorized to work in the United States
