Merchandiser / Assembler

 

This position is responsible for providing in-store assembly and merchandising services to various retail stores in the area.  Items to be assembled include Bikes, RTA Furniture and Gas Grills.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities: Completes service calls for specified vendor and/or departments within several assigned retail stores.Performs assembly for customers. Completes assignments as agreed and assures customer is completely satisfied.Understands and maintains vendor plan-o-grams.Replaces and maintains vendor POP as needed.Completes vendor specific resets as required.Performs assembly for vender displays.Provides continuous, courteous and professional customer service to vendors, store personnel, and store customers.Maintains good work habits and arrives at appointments punctually.Works independently to meet deadlines and achieve results.Performs other related duties as required.

 

Position Requirements:1-2 years experience building ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture Must have access to email Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results Must have reliable transportationMust have valid driver's license 1-2 years experience in a retail environment

This position will spend approximately 6 hours per week doing retail merchandising and approximately 24 hours per week completing Assembly work in the PITTSBURGH area.  Territories will include:  West Mifflin, Monroeville, Bridgeville and Homestead OR McCandless, Gibsonia, McKnight and Avalon.

 

Payrate:

$9.00 - $13.00 per hr.

Approx 30 hrs/wk
