Payroll RepresentativePrimary Job Responsibilities:   Responsible to decisively coordinate and process the various types of payroll transactions for exempt and non-exempt associates on a daily/weekly basis (i.e. payroll adjustments, new hires/transfers, terminations, rate changes, direct deposit, garnishments, W-4 changes, benefits, movement of wages, adjustments, W2's and W-2C's) Responsible for auditing payroll (pre payroll transmission - IPM and batch control totals) and post payroll (processing reports and wage/tax reports) Responsible for special projects as requested (i.e. time card audits, deductions, etc.) Research and correct quarterly FIT and PS/Ceridian comparison reports Responsible for processing reversals on electronic funds transfers (EFT) as well as, stop payments on live checks · Ability to process manual checks as required for off cycle payroll adjustments Distribute pay checks and pay advice forms Provide daily support to internal and external guests either via e-mail, phone, or in person relating to payroll matters Opens and distributes mail accordingly Requirements:  Ability to work effectively within a team environment Must have ability to act independently while performing required payroll tasks Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet strict  deadlines Ability to respond to changing technology The ability to maintain, in the strictest confidence, information received concerning confidential matters Demonstrated commitment to customer service Must have ability to communicate effectively (written/oral) Knowledge of Word, Excel, Source, PeopleSoft HR/Time and Labor. To apply for this position, please email cover letter & resume to recruiter1@toysrus.com .Please reference job id Monster-PR
