PetSmart Regional HR Manager
PetSmart is seeking a driven individual to be a Regional People Manager in the Miami, Orlando, Tampa, or Gainesville Florida area. This position reports directly to the Regional People Director, and is a critical HR role to support operations in our stores and districts. As the Regional People Manager, you will effectively manage recruitment processes, help develop teams through succession planning, address associate concerns and investigate critical issues while partnering with district management and acting as a valuable HR resource to the store management teams. Job Duties Recruiting - to include internal, online and direct recruitment of qualified management candidates for new and existing locations. Also responsible for college recruitment and interview process. Manage New Store Hiring Process - to include conference calls with store management, ad placement for new stores, and ensuring quality hiring for new stores to open fully staffed. Associate Relations for Assigned Area - to include responding and reacting to associate issues, conducting investigations, and appropriate follow-through. Training - Assist with, or conduct, HR-related training in the field as needed. Other - Special projects, reports, etc. as assigned. RequirementsEducation: Bachelors degree in HR, Psychology, or related field and/or 4-5 years of related HR experience. Experience: 3+ years generalist experience in Human Resources - preferably in large, multi-unit. Including, but not limited to, exposure to recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, performance management, and organization development.
