Job Category Logistics/Transportation Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Planner Lands End, a leading international brand of classically inspired clothing and home products, is currently looking for a Planner. As a Planner, you will be responsible for the generation and management of Lands End product forecasts and managing inventory. The Planner will interact on a regular basis with the Lands End Merchants, Supply Management, and Sourcing teams. You will manage the strategic financial plans by category. Other responsibilities include analyzing historical product performance and current business trends to support seasonal merchandise/assortment planning and identifying risk and opportunities by category; conducting in-season performance tracking, reporting, and analysis; and managing processes to meet risk inventory and fulfillment goals. Although the Planner will still look to the Director of Planning for guidance, they will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.QualificationsSuccessful candidates should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:" Bachelor s degree is a related field (economics, finance, marketing, statistics, etc.) or equivalent work experience." A minimum of 3-5 years experience in inventory management or related position." A solid understanding of common planning and forecasting processes and procedures." Proven ability to understand financial measurements and how to impact them." Strong written, verbal, and oral communication skills." Proficiency in using mainframe and PC based packages." Strong organizational skills and attention to detail." Strong negotiation skills." Strong leadership skills." Past retail and analytical experienced desired.
