Position: Planning/Inventory Management Multiple Levels – Assistant Planner to Planning/Inventory ManagerLocation: Chicago  Are you interested in working with a world-class retailer? Our client has strong brand recognition and is continually growing which means they provide their employees with excellent long term growth potential and a quick promotion track based on individual performance!  We are seeking successful planning/inventory management executives at all levels (assistant planner – manager) to focus on developing merchandise plans including sales, margin, inventory turn and in stock percentage at the line, category, and class or key item level.    Job Responsibilities:  Work with merchants to develop appropriate assortments and plan/ create financial strategies that minimize risk and maximize profit. Create calculated and strategic financial plans down to the item level. Manage markdowns within a department. Work with merchants to manage SKUs to effectively plan a department. Job Qualifications:  2+ years of experience in replenishment, planning, allocation, or inventory management within a retail or wholesale environment Managers must have previous supervisory experience Strong track record of success Detail oriented with strong managerial, planning, organization and project management skills Working knowledge of Merchandising and Retail Systems; Inforem experience a plus.
