Program Manager - Chicago

Description:We are searching for a Program Manager in Chicago to manage and regularly execute our Clinical Skills programs, in addition to assisting local management of other Medical Programs at the Chicago-Downtown Kaplan Center. Medical background is a plus but not a requirement.Program Administrative Responsibilities: Oversee local administration of Clinical Skills courses. Coordinate scheduling and training of Standardized Patients together with trainers. Handle new hire payroll entries and monitor weekly payroll. Assist with selecting, training, and supervising staff. Assist with ordering of supplies and maintaining inventory. Assist with computer scoring data program as needed. Maintain organization of filing system of all documents and paperwork. Maintain contact with all enrolled/prospective students before and after course. Serve as guest speaker concerning Clinical Skills programs as requested. Assist with administration and promotion of other Medical courses in Chicago.Program Curriculum Responsibilities: Provide counseling to students. Assist with design and implementation of student evaluation tools. Assist with evaluation of lectures and training by Clinical Skills Professors and workshop assistants. Assist with evaluation of performance of facilitators and coordinators. Position Requirements: Bachelors Degree required Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills Leadership and team motivation skills. Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle complex logistics. Event planning skills Professional demeanor Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel Ability to manage a large group of part-time employees, including assistants, physicians, and actors. Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment. Weekend work is required. Strong presentation skills a must.
