Programmer Analyst, Merchandising Systems

This will be for the Merchandising Systems Team.

You will design, test, code, and document new applications and functionalities based on the business requirements. You will support the existing applications for Merchandizing Store Systems and Finance as well as Warehouse Management.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 

• 5-7 years systems analysis and programming experience.
• Advanced RPGILE, RPGIV, SQL, CL and CMD programming skills.
• Advanced knowledge of database design including relational database design and iSeries native and SQL database design
• Broad knowledge of iSeries tools & utilities such as Aldon, Abstract, FTP, and e-mail.
• Comprehensive understanding of iSeries connectivity at a physical and logical level.
• Experience implementing successful large scale projects
• Knowledge of multiple platforms and alternatives is a big plus.
• Exposure to J2EE environments and Java language a plus.
• Exposure to Application servers such Jboss, BEA, Websphere a plus.
