CORPORATE RECEPTIONIST

April 29, 2008

 

 

QFC is seeking a Receptionist for our corporate office to help us better serve our customers. The Corporate Receptionist will be responsible for assisting us with answering and routing incoming phone calls and is an important part of our team.

In addition, any Kroger employee from another division must:

 

· Notify Store Manager or Department Supervisor AND District/ Zone Human Resources Manager of intention to apply.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

QFC also requires that all employees perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and State and Federal laws.



· The position is full time.

· Hours are primarily between 7AM – 5PM Monday through Friday, although occasional weekend work is required.

· Wage will depend on experience.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·  Must be at least 18 years old.

· Must meet U.S. legal work status.

· Must have high school diploma or GED.

· Must be able to Stand and Sit for 2 hours at a time.

· Must follow QFC Company and security policies.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

· Ability to speak, read, comprehend and write fluently in English.

· Strong and accurate math skills.

· Ability to follow instructions.

· Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.

· Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.

· Accuracy and attention to detail.

· Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

· Professional telephone skills.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Good understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel

· Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.

· Must be able work with others in a professional manner.

· Good Computer Skills

 

 

 

HELPFUL:

 

· Ten key by touch/by sight 4000 SPH is helpful.

· Typing 40 WPM is helpful.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

 

· Answer multi-line phones and greet customers and employees.

· Keep information in databases up to date and accurate.

· Assist in scheduling conference rooms.

· Assist other departments on completion of projects
