The qualified candidate is responsible for the timely and courteous greeting of visitors and incoming telephone calls to the corporate headquarters.  Will direct our visitors to the appropriate associate or the tour area.  Other responsibilities include the ordering of product for office tasting and promotional distribution.  Additional responsibilities include assisting the Human Resources department with data entry projects. Key Responsibilities Knowledgeable of Company information and associates in order to properly direct incoming phone calls to the proper associate in a timely and courteous manner Greets numerous types of visitors (vendors, applicants, and tour) in the lobby.  Visitors are promptly and courteously directed as appropriate.  Contacting associate of visitor, maintaining visitor log and badges, distributing and collecting employment applications, and providing directions to the tour area Places orders for delivery of chocolate products.  Maintain a small inventory of product for promotional purposes and office tasting Performs other office services assumed as the responsibility of this position.  Work is guided by The Five Principles of Mars, and the departmental goals Key Skills Required Communication skills both oral and written Demonstrate level of interpersonal skills and others Ability to effectively manage multiple projects Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision Service oriented – willingness to perform responsibilities outside of the job description Willing to work flexible schedules, overtime, and travel as necessary Minimum Qualifications·  Ability to operate a personal computer.  Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products Excel, Word, Powerpoint, E-mail and Order Mat System·  HS Diploma or equivalent ·  1-2 years office clerical/administrative experience Company-paid relocation assistance is not available for this position. To apply go to www.ethelschocolate.com/careers (Las Vegas) for the link to the online application process. As a privately-held, family-owned company, Mars Incorporated offers benefits which reflect our commitment to attracting and retaining great people.
