We're building dominant and compelling assortments in hardware, bath, lighting, textiles and furniture. General purpose:This role is responsible for building new Residential Developer and Hospitality customer relationships and generating new business within these verticals to deliver the planned sales volume by territory. Key responsibilities:Develop and implement a territory sales and marketing plan to meet the territory’s annual sales and margin goals Understand key influencers, customer decision criteria, competitor value propositions, segment and regional trends Pursue new “large” business opportunities within target Residential Developers and Hospitality accounts in territory and serves as the account manager of all regional A&B target customers Cultivates ongoing productive/collaborative relationships Uses consultative selling skills to discover, diagnose, and solidify needs and proposes/delivers world class solutions Ability to communicate and sell to C level customers Manage sales process in the territory including the formulation of sales proposals and coordination of necessary resources Proactively develops/maintains a personal network of RH 'can do' allies to provide support to deliver the right solution Proactively network at industry events to facilitate relationship building Provides timely and accurate forecasting and reporting information as required Performs other duties as requested Key competencies for the role:Organization Ability to prioritize Perseverance Presentation skills Decision making skills Customer focus Results orientation Interpersonal savvy Negotiating skills Listening skills Business acumen Role requirementsBachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field-equivalent level of experience considered Minimum 5-7 years of successful outside sales experience selling to Residential Developers and or Hospitality Passion for Restoration Hardware products and brand Advanced selling skills - e.g. account penetration, strategic selling, consultative selling, negotiation and contract development Must have strong organizational and problem solving skills as well as the ability to collaborate and negotiate Must be an assertive, self-starter with the self-confidence and ability to represent RH-Trade in a professional manner Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, at all levels of the organization and able to build long term relationships with customers/partners (particularly at senior decision-making levels within an organization) Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication ability with strong emphasis on listening Demonstrated high personal performance standards, the desire and ability to continuously learn and must be results-oriented Demonstrated high level of integrity and business ethics Must be financially literate and possess business acumen Ability to effectively use office automation/communication software/tools used in the RH office environment Must be able to perform all essential job responsibilities listed above Willingness to travel and attend Trade shows Must be a team player For quick consideration Click here to apply
