Regional HR Coordinator

As a PetSmart associate, you’ll be joining the nation’s leading pet retailer.  Our vision is to provide Total Lifetime Care for every pet, every parent, every time.  We’re currently seeking candidates who enjoy working in a team environment: Regional People CoordinatorThis associate is responsible for supporting the Regional People Directors and Regional People Managers by performing tasks related to recruiting and staffing which include the interview process, job-postings, phone screening and reporting. Essential Job Functions:·  Prescreens resumes received; phone screens qualified candidates; routes qualified candidates to appropriate hiring manager (People Team, DM, SM); reviews and selects students to interview on campus for college recruiting.·  Prepares correspondence, such as No Interest / Offer letters.·  Posts for current positions (internet, newspaper, job fair, etc.).  Posts positions for management needs in assigned region.  ·  Administers, registers, coordinates and communicates for College Recruiting Campus Events.·  Monitors applicant flow and identifies prospective candidates.  Searches, identifies qualified candidates for position through Resume Mining, Referrals, Cold Calls, campus systems, etc.·  Supports new store opening mass hires and reports key staffing metrics weekly. Prepares monthly and quarterly reports. Will navigate HRIS database applications and web based employment sites.  Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field preferred Minimum of two years work experience related to recruiting Able to demonstrate intermediate proficiency using Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Able to demonstrate sense of urgency and focus on details.
