The Essential Functions of the position are listed below:¿ Manages the training environment to ensure classroom seating, layout and conditions are appropriate for the material being taught, adequately fit the number of trainees scheduled, and provide and environment that is conducive to learning. ¿ Delivers training programs and ensures the effectiveness of delivery by adapting teaching style and learning methodologies for different types of learners, managing difficult participants, allowing for trainee practice, activities, and questions, following the agenda timeline, and performance objectives, and treating trainees with respect, understanding, and genuine concern. ¿ Assesses and ensures trainee learning by administering practices and examinations, tracking trainee attendance, and gather trainee feedback. ¿ Recommends adjustments to or improvements in course content and presentation techniques based on direct observation, personal experience, trainee feedback, or organizational, occupational, or legal changes.The following tasks are necessary to perform one or more of the essential functions of this position: ¿ Visually verifies information often in small print ¿ Reads information often in small print ¿ Visually locates merchandise and other objects ¿ Visually inspects equipment ¿ Observes Associates and customer behavior ¿ Enters and locates information on computer ¿ Works overnight and varying shifts, as required ¿ Travels to and from multiple facilities or work sites conducting tours and inspections ¿ Travels to multiple facilities or work sites requiring both single and multiple day stays ¿ Communicates effectively in person or using telecommunications equipment ¿ Presents information to small or large groups and individuals Minimum Qualifications: ¿ High school diploma/ G.E.D equivalent AND ¿ At least two years of managerial/supervisory experience OR ¿ At least two years of formal facilitation experience ¿ At least two years professional teaching experience.Preferred Qualifications: ¿ Two years Wal-Mart managerial experience ¿ One year human resource/personnel experience.
