This manager is expected to drive region-wide execution in the areas of presentation and assortment, staffing, recruiting, training, and promotional programs while providing operational support for his or her team of District Managers. The Regional Manager is the eyes and ears of their territory and will provide a constant flow of information to the Support Center team regarding general or unique trends and/or any events in the region that require special attention and support.QualificationsJob Responsibilities: The Regional Manager job responsibilities fall into three main groups:Leadership" Fully embraces and demonstrates on a daily basis our corporate mission, vision, and values" Recruits, hires, coaches and motivates a diversified team of District Managers. Ensures that all stores in the Region are staffed properly at all times." Personally demonstrates a strong business ethic when dealing with customers and associates, including compliance with the Code of Conduct and all applicable Sears Holdings Corporation policies and procedures" Makes fact-based decisions, but exercise creativity and take responsible risks to find lasting solutions to entrenched problems" Demonstrates a sense of urgency in matters ranging from sales growth to performance management. Possesses the ability to grow sales regardless of internal or external obstacles" Ensures an in-store culture of fun, energy, and excitement to enhance customer experience and grow revenuesSatisfy Customers" Personally demonstrates and takes accountability for excellent customer service. " Ensure that customer satisfaction is a #1 priority in all stores across the region. Quickly addresses situations where it is not." Ensures that all facilities have the look and feel that is consistent with the SHC brandMake Money" Uses a strong working knowledge of SHC financial reports to drive profitable sales growth" Develops and implements a regional marketing plan that reflects the priorities and resources committed by the National Leadership Team" Evaluates and executes assortments, presentation and signing in support of the merchandising strategy" Achieves or exceeds all financial and non-financial targetsSpecific Essential Functions: " Ability to network, recruit, train, develop and promote quality associates into progressive, meaningful management positions" Monitor performance of all stores in region to maximize profits" Effectively implement all company policies and procedures throughout the region and on a timely basis" Recommend competitive prices in all phases of the assigned businesses" Is highly organized and always produces quality work on time.Experience/Education Requirements: " BA, BS, or equivalent work experience " Minimum 2 years experience leading or managing a team of District ManagersBenefitsAs a Sears associate, your career path options will be determined by your performance and your desire to advance further within the Sears organization.
