Regional Supervisor - TX

OBJECTIVE

 

Manage and develop field reps to maximize sales of our clients’ products by visiting assigned stores on a regular basis.  The Field Supervisor is responsible for ensuring 100% completion of store visits on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and ensures client satisfaction is being met in the field.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

¨ Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers at all levels.

¨ Monitor a team of field reps to ensure 100% client satisfaction is being met.

¨ Communicate with team members and management on a daily basis.

¨ Provide back-up to the field rep role as necessary to ensure 100% compliance to store visits.

¨ Perform regular store audits to ensure independent contractor’s work is completed per client request.

¨ Perform store evaluations with independent contractors to ensure client’s expectations are being met.

¨ Motivate, praise and encourage team members on a regular basis.

¨ Provide weekly and monthly reports to management.

¨ Responsible to network within their assigned territory to assist Human Resources with staffing needs.

¨ Depending on business needs and clients requirements supervisors must be on call evenings and weekends for store calls/audits in the event a rep is not available to service client.

¨ As a job requirement, employee may be called upon to drive on behalf of SMP to assigned stores on a daily basis.

¨ Occasional overnight travel may be required

 SKILL REQUIREMENTS

 

¨ Clear, effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.

¨ Good organization and time management skills.

¨ Able to perform essential functions with minimal supervision.

¨ Ability to positively represent client’s services to field customers.

¨ Ability to multi-task on a daily basis.

¨ Must be detail oriented.

¨ Must have a good understanding of all MS Office programs.

¨ Must have a reliable automobile; a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

 

ENVIRONMENT

 

Most duties are performed in the field (80%) and in the employee’s home office environment (20%) travel required within assigned territory.
